Biography
Rep. Heather Meyer is Kansas’ first openly bisexual legislator, a social worker, a mom, and a fighter for LGBTQ+ rights-especially those of our transgender community. Heather is running for reelection to House District 29, in Overland Park, KS and is a strong advocate for high quality, equitable and affordable healthcare, fully funding our public schools, strengthening our social safety net, protecting reproductive freedom, and defending LGBTQ rights.
