Michael Martin

Michael Martin, a 2015 graduate of Musselman High School, was first elected to the School Board in 2020. Martin attended West Virginia University to study Agribusiness and Natural Resources Policy. With a strong background and expertise in public policy, he currently works in communications and government relations for a manufacturing trade association in northern Virginia. He has also championed increased funding for extracurricular activities and other vocational programs within Berkeley County Schools, including through his service on the WVU Cooperative Extension Service Committee. He also played a pivotal role in passing the largest School Bond in WV history.
