Biography

Reagan Davis, 35, was born at what is now Chesapeake Regional Hospital to his parents Kevin and Lynn Davis. Reagan attended Greenbrier Primary, Intermediate, and Middle Schools and graduated from Indian River High School in 2007.

Following high school, Reagan attended Old Dominion University where he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master of Science in Secondary Education. He later completed a Graduate Certificate of Mathematics Education from Radford University.

In 2012, Reagan started his teaching career as a math teacher in Chesapeake. During the 2023-2024 school year, he was awarded Teacher of the Year, and he was a Chesapeake finalist.

Beyond Chesapeake Public Schools, Reagan is an adjunct mathematics professor at Norfolk State University and Tidewater Community College. He has experience teaching Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, and Precalculus One.

Outside of the classroom, Reagan serves in leadership roles with multiple organizations including President of the Chesapeake Education Association and Treasurer of the Chesapeake Democratic Committee.

Reagan brings a love of learning, compassion, and drive to the campaign as his goal is to serve others.
