Ross was the first out LGBTQ+ person and Democrat to be elected to two offices serving concurrently!
Biography
Director Ross Pike represents District 1 on the North County Fire Board of Directors and all of Fallbrook on the Fallbrook Planning Group. He is the first and only openly LGBTQ elected official in the Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Rainbow area. Growing up in rural western Michigan where his family owned and operated a dairy farm for nearly 100 years, Ross moved to Fallbrook seven years ago after the tragic loss of his mom to be closer to his sister, niece, and nephew. Professionally, Ross is a certified mediator and works for the National Conflict Resolution Center as the Outreach and Engagement Manager for the San Diego District Attorney’s Juvenile Diversion Initiative disrupting the school-to-prison pipeline. In addition to the Fire Board and the Planning Group, Ross serves as a Mission Resource Conservation District Associate Director, Fallbrook Fire Safe Council volunteer, and a North County Dispatch Joint Powers Authority Representative. Ross understands the importance of looking out for your neighbor and that’s why he ran for office four years ago. Now, he is running for re-election and hopes you’ll support him to continue his advocacy work for you and your neighbors.
