Biography
Supervisor Steve Gallardo was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He’s a 4th generation Arizona native. In 2002, Gallardo was elected to the Arizona State House of Representative in a new legislative district covering the southwest valley and the Arizona State Senate in 2010. In October of 2001, Gallardo was appointed to the Cartwright Elementary School District Governing Board to fulfill an unexpired term and then later elected in 2002 and in 2010 for a 4 year term. Gallardo, was elected to the Phoenix Union High School Governing Board in 2004 and 2018.
