Biography
Stormie Forte is a native of Raleigh. She is a licensed as an attorney and real estate agent. Stormie made history as the first Black female to serve on the Raleigh City Council. She is the third LGBTQ+ member of the Council. She received her BS and MS from UNC-Chapel Hill and her JD from NCCU School of Law. Her priorities for this term are addressing the escalating issue of homelessness, creating more affordable housing opportunities, expanding the regional transit system, improving infrastructure and providing more support for small businesses.
