Biography
Alfred Twu is an architect, artist, and housing activist running for the Berkeley Rent Stabilization Board. Currently serving on Berkeley’s Planning Commission, they have been working to solve the housing crisis through expanding tenant protections, preserving existing low cost housing from demolition, increasing funding for affordable housing, and updating the zoning to allow more homes. Alfred is also active in many community and political organizations at the state and local level, working on supporting LGBTQ+, Asian American, and renter voices in politics.
