Biography
Zach Bachmann is a technologist, software developer, and digital equity advocate running for Kendall County Board in District 2 (IL). Growing up in a rural community, Zach has long been passionate about bringing high-speed, affordable internet to those currently without it. First elected at 24 in 2022, he has worked tirelessly to accomplish this goal, having secured $15M in funding for a community-owned broadband network in his first term. Bachmann strongly believes in pursuing a more equitable and just reality in Illinois – one that includes fully funded public education, protected reproductive rights, renewable and green energy programs, affordable healthcare, and modern infrastructure.
