Today, LGBTQ+ Victory Fund Spotlight candidate Sarah McBride was officially elected by Delaware voters to represent them in the U.S. House of Representatives, making history as the first out transgender representative in Congress.
LGBTQ+ Victory Fund President & CEO Annise Parker released the following statement:

We congratulate Sarah and the people of Delaware for making history and showing the importance of diverse voices in government.”
