E. Desiree Asher
Philanthropist and Activist
Desiree Asher is an activist and philanthropist dedicated to advancing equality, protecting children from abuse, and feeding her neighbors. Desiree spent twenty years in the data-fusion industry, most recently serving as Co-CEO of TLO, LLC, a Boca Raton, FL-based provider of information and risk-management solutions. She led the company through a successful acquisition by TransUnion, a leading global risk and information solutions provider.
Atlas, M&A Advisors, and ACG nationally recognized the acquisition of TLO by TransUnion, and the deal won several awards. The awards include the Turnaround Atlas Award 2014: Special Situation M&A Deal of the Year, Small Mid Markets, the M&A Advisor Turnaround Award: Professional Services (B-to-B) Deal of the Year, and M&A Advisor Turnaround Award: Financial Services Deal of the Year. In 2015, Desiree was personally honored as a winner of the M&A Advisors “40 Under 40 Dealmaker of the Year” award.
Desiree is the co-founder of Child Rescue Coalition (CRC), a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing children from sexual abuse by building technology for law enforcement, free of charge, to track, arrest, and prosecute child predators. Child Rescue Coalition is based in Boca Raton, FL, and CRC technology is used by law enforcement in all 50 US states and in 97 countries across the globe. Child Rescue Coalition software is directly responsible for the arrest of over 13,000 child predators and the immediate rescue of over 3,000 innocent children.
She serves on the Board of Directors of Child Rescue Coalition and City Harvest, a large nonprofit organization that rescues and delivers fresh food and produce to food insecure New Yorkers. She is a member of the Federal Club Council of the Human Rights Campaign and is active with HRC on a local and National level. She serves as a member of the LGBTQ Council of the DNC. Desiree has been part of countless local, state, and Federal political campaigns.
Desiree has a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and lives in New York City with her two canine kids.
