Michael Grover

Michael Grover is Executive Director of Government Affairs for Cox Communications, Inc. In that role, he works on federal, state and local policy and legislative matters, serves as an internal consultant on franchise renewals and compliance issues, serves on his company PAC board, and monitors political contributions. Michael started his career in cable as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit and counsel to the City’s Cable Commission. In 1996 he joined Continental Cablevision as Director of Legal Affairs for the Midwest (Michigan and Ohio) region. Michael moved to Georgia in 1999 and worked for MediaOne/AT&T Broadband until joining Cox in 2001. A longtime support of LGBTQ organizations, Michael served on the Georgia Equality board of directors for several years before joining the Victory Fund Campaign Board. A graduate of the University of Michigan and University of Detroit Law School, Michael and his husband Nunzio Lupo call Atlanta, Georgia, home.
