Co-Founder and President, The Palette Fund

Terrence Meck is Co-Founder and President of The Palette Fund, a private foundation dedicated to advancing social change in communities that are under-resourced and facing significant challenges. The Palette Fund is based in Provincetown, Massachusetts and honors the legacy of Meck’s late husband, Rand Skolnick who lost his battle to pancreatic cancer in 2008. Since its inception, The Palette Fund has granted more than $15 million to over 200 organizations throughout the United States. Terrence also serves as President of Intrinsic Capital, a small investment firm providing seed-stage funding to socially progressive startups. After graduating from Princeton University with a BA in Political Science, Terrence worked in publicity in the food, wine, and fashion industries before owning and operating The Raven Resort Properties in New Hope, Pennsylvania. One of his favorite passions is dedicating his time and talents to the many nonprofit organizations he has worked with over the years including his extensive service on more than a dozen boards of directors. Terrence is currently Board Chairman of God’s Love We Deliver, The Provincetown Commons and the Urban Beekeeping Laboratory and a Board Member of the Movement Advancement Project, Out Leadership Foundation and The Victory Fund. He is the past Board Chairman of Threshold Foundation and The New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care. He also served on the board of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network for nine years. Terrence and his partner, Breton split their time between Provincetown, Massachusetts and New Orleans, Louisiana.
